4. Character: Colorless prismatic crystal, cube crystal or white crystalline powder, odourless and tastes salty. It is
easily soluble in water and glycerin and slightly in ethanol.The relative density is 1.987 and melting point is 773℃.
5. Usage: In food industry, it is used as gelling agent , salt substitutes , yeast food. It is similar to table salt to be
used as flavoring agent for agricultural products, aquatic products, livestock forming products, condiment,can,
convenient food and so on. It also can enhance potassium to prepare beverages for the athletes.
